Gary Lee, from the Eastside Fire Museum, speaks about the history of the history of Warren Township Fire Department with a history club at the Ransburg YMCA on Thursday, February 21st. Gary, the former announcer for ESPN World Wide Racing for over 28 years, helps with our public relations efforts. Gary also shared some safety tips with the club.
Teaching children about firefighting history as well as fire safety is just one of the programs we intend to expand on with traveling displays and interactive “hands on” equipment. Children of all ages enjoy actually holding the fire hose as our antique fire engine pumps water.
